Introduction
Welcome to my little corner of the internet. I am currently enrolled at Ole Miss as an International Studies major in the Croft School. Over the coming year I will be fullfilling my duties as international man of mystery by travelling across South America. This blog is an opportunity for you to follow my stories and live vicariously through them. Get in on the ground floor, this thing is going to be big.

Just got back, the trip was amazing. Unfortunately, I´ve now got 3 nights-until early tuesday-to kill at the hostel wasting money and waiting for my flight. It´s super expensive to fly back sunday and monday so it makes more sense to wait a bit. To answer mom´s question. We did have matches although fires aren´t allowed in the park as winds rarely go below 20 mph or so and routinely hit 40 or so mph, too much of a threat for forest fires. As for water, we brought a nalgene and filled up at streams, the place is so remote that there are no contaminants and all water is safe to drink. Many times we could see the water melt from the glacier and follow it´s path to the river or stream we were drinking from-pretty cool. Glacial water is, by the way, delicious.
